So what's the big deal? It's just an iguana sitting in the grass!! It must have been playing the "statue game" because I stood there for 5 minutes and it never moved!
This lovely (?) iguana was in Los Cabos, México at a beautiful farm to table restaurant called Flora Farms. SimplySpanish presents this week's teaching video "Where in the world...México!" which explores the Baja California city of Los Cabos. Kids learn about colorful Mexican tile from Saltillo and beautiful flowers called Bugambilia that are also used in hot tea. In addition, we explore the various crops that are grown at Flora Farms and see some of the beautiful dishes that are prepared there. And don't forget about the iguana!!
If you haven't already done so, check out the SimplySpanish website! It's been "tweaked" a little bit with some minor changes. The biggest change is that the focus is on the Live Tutoring Sessions (formerly known as "Zoom classes"). Also, there are 5 new teaching video categories ("What time is it?", "Do your chores!", "Home sweet home!", "How do I feel?", and "Eat your fruits and veggies!") and now there are over 140 video lessons in the four video lesson categories! Lastly, the "recording studio" is getting a fresh look with improved lighting and set decorations. Look for these changes in the next several weeks!
I'd love for you to pass along this digital business card to your friends who may be interested in joining the SimplySpanish family! Thank you in advance for helping me get the word out!
Finally, Live Tutoring Sessions (formerly zoom classes) take place the week of September 6, 2021. Sign up here! If you are looking for a specific day and time that works better for your family, please email me and we'll do our best to accommodate!
Abrazos,
